I took my Kean University Drawing One students to Chelsea tonight. Here we are at Elga Wimmer Gallery in front of drawings by Sobin Park. We had a great discussion about the work with the artist herself! This fascinating exhibition was curated by Dr. Thalia Vrachopoulos.
What is an inter/trans-disciplinary artist? One who leaps from here to there and back again. One who can always see the big picture. One for whom the world is equally compelling and revolting, revealing and concealing. One who sees the personal and political, creative, social and environmental as often one, and for whom a single medium and point of view is never enough. Triada Samaras www.triadasamaras.com

My interview with Elena Maroulleti at Aktina FM
Today I had an interview with the marvelous Elena Marouletti from Aktina FM about my "Unbound" exhibition at the Paterson Museum.
The closing reception for my exhibition is in one week on August 11, 2019 from 1-4 PM.
there will be a poetry reading with poems by myself and NYC writer/poet Pratt Professor Jonathan Goodman at 2 PM.
All are welcome!
For many years, Elena has created and produced a bi-lingual greek/Greek America Station that is such a valuable resource for the NYC community and beyond!
I can not say how many times I have listed in to Aktina FM and how much it has guided me, particularly during stressful moments in my NYC life.
My interview with Elena Marouletti has been archived and one can listen in for the next week.
