I visited the Whitney Museum and the Whitney Biennial Exhibition 2017 today where I met a man in Lady Liberty drag. Of course, he did not speak. I photographed Lady Liberty being photographed by another man. And behind them both stood the Empire State building. This about sums up my political views these days: I gaze at photographs of American icons in front of more icons never knowing anymore where truth lies. Pun attended. Triada Samaras
